The Pomeranian are small sized dog breeds originating from Germany and Poland. They are used as Toy breeds and companion dogs. They have a round structure and a fluffy appearance and spitz type looks. They are also known by other names like Pom, Pom Pom, Deutsche Spitze, Zwergspitz, Spitz Nain, Spitz Enano and Zwers. They grow as tall as 30inches and a weigh a maximum of 3-7 pounds. It has large round eyes with an alert and curious expression. Its gait is smooth and far reaching. Their coat is thick and smooth, rendering it a puffy look. They are active and energetic breeds, who are rarely seen getting lousy. They are playful and adventurous, who enjoy indulging in sporting and retrieving activities. They get along well with children but can be bit aggressive, if not trained properly. They are wary of strangers and tend to bark at intruders.
