Pointers are medium sized dog breeds originating from the United Kingdom. They belong to the group of sporting and gun dogs breed. They grow as tall as 24 inches and weighs a maximum of 44-66 pounds. They have a muscular built and a lean structure with vigilant expression. Their lithe is smooth and energetic, with an excellent sense of smell. Its coat is short and smooth occurring in colors of black, brown, white and yellow. They love to hunt birds. It needs regular and constant exercise lest it will turn boisterous and destructive. At times they may turn extremely aggressive with children. its wary of strangers and other dog breeds.
