Norwegian Buhund is medium sized purebred, originating from Norway. They are listed in herding and northern breeds. These belong Spitz-type dog breeds. They grow as tall as 19 inches and weigh a maximum of 40 pounds. They are easy to train and are used to guard sheep and livestock. They are very good guard dogs. Its coat is short and dense occurring in wheat and black colors. They are stubborn and intelligent. they tend to bark in order to alert their owner.
