New Guinea Singing Dog is medium sized dog breed originating from Papua Guinea, used as companion breeds. they grow as tall as 43-46 cm and weigh in between 7.7-13.6 kg. they have a distinctive resemblance to fox breed. Similar to fox they also have small eyes, sharp ears, and distinctive cries. Their coat is small and short found in varied colors of black, red, tan and brown. They are known as a singing dog as their bark is distinctive, which sounds like singing. They are known to howl to express their emotions and while alerting. They are wary of strangers and do not get along well with other pets and dogs.
