Burmilla are medium to large sized cats originating from the United Kingdom. The males grow as much as 7-13 pounds and females weigh in between 6-11 pounds. They are cross-breeds between a Burmese and a Chinchilla Persian cat. Its coat is long as well as short, silky and dense occurring in varied colors and patterns. They make excellent lap cats and are known for their calm disposition. They are sensitive and loyal. They tend to enjoy the company of humans. They are playful and energetic who get along well with children and other pets. They are well behaved with strangers.
