Bengal also known as American Wirehair are medium to large size cats originating from the United States. The male weigh between 10-18 pounds and females between 6-12 pounds. They are cross-breeds produced by hybrid between a domestic cat and a wild Asian Leopard Cat. They have long bone structure and muscular built. Its eyes are large and almond-shaped which are expressive. its coat is short and plush with a glossy structure occurring in varied colors and patterns. These adorable and playful breeds are affectionate and energetic. They enjoy indulging in retrieving activities. They are known to be very vocal. They get along well with children and other pets. They tend to be reclusive towards strangers.
