Lapponian Herder also known as Lapland Reindeer dog, Reindeer Herder, are medium sized dog breeds, originating from Finland. They are as herders. They grow to a maximum height of 21 inches and weigh between 27 to 30 kgs. They have moderate bone structure. Their coat is long, straight and thick. They are commonly found in black, gray or brown colors. Belonging to the herding group they need constant exercise in order to keep their tempers at bay. They are known to be even-tempered breeds. they get along well with children and other pets, also are known to be wary of strangers.
