European Burmese are medium sized cats originating from Burma and Thailand. The males weigh between 10-14 pounds and females weigh between 7-10 pounds. They have heavy bone structure with muscular built. Its eyes are large and round ranging from yellow to amber. Its coat is short and smooth occurring in varied colors. They are known to be extremely loyal to its family and owners. They are playful and have a calm disposition. They are affectionate and patient cat breeds, who get along well with children and other pets. They may tend to be reserved of strangers.
