Brazilian Shorthair are medium to large size cats originating from Brazil. They have moderate bone structure and muscular built. Their eyes are large and pointed. The males grow as much as 10-18 pounds and females weigh between 8-16 pounds. its coat is short, silky and plush occurring in variety of colors. They are known for their friendly and affectionate behavior. They are energetic and playful. They enjoy being in the company of humans and are adaptable both indoor as well as outdoor. They get along well with children and other pet breeds. They are well behaved with strangers as well.
