Spotted Towhee also known as Pipilo maculatus are large sized Sparrow breeds. They are found across Socorro Islands. They weigh between 33 to 49 g and grow up to 8.3 inches in size. They have a life expectancy of 11 years. Its diet mainly comprises of insects and sometimes berries and fruits. They migrate to warmer regions on the onset of winter.
