Mini rex are small or mini sized rabbits originating from France. They have compact body shape. They were produced by breeding a black Dwarf Rex buck and a undersized Lynx Red doe. They weigh as much as 3.5-4.5 lbs. Its coat is long and soft, often with a velvety texture commonly found in sable, castor, blue, himalayan, lilac, lynx, opal, broken, tricolor and pattern. They are known to be calm and friendly. They tend to be curious and intelligent. they get long well with children and best suited as indoor pets.
