Flemish Giant are giant rabbits originating from Belgium and England. They are supposed to be descendents of the Argentinian Pentagonian rabbit. They are used for their fur and for meat. They weigh 9-14 lbs. Its coat is short and thick as compared to usually long fur of Angora breeds. They have a glossy texture to it requiring lesser grooming, occurring in sandy, fawn, white, light gray, steel grey, black and blue colors. They are known to be friendly and docile. They get along well with children and other breeds. they are suited for all types of environment as indoor pets and make excellent companion pets for outdoor adventures.
