Mudi is a medium sized dog breed originating from Hungary. They grow as tall as 44- 47 cm and weigh a maximum of 11-13 kg. They have a moderate bone structure with muscular built. Their short legs enable it to have medium gait. Its coat varies between its legs and rest of the body. Its coat is short and smooth on the face and wiry and wavy in the rest of the body. It's lively, gentle and sensitive. It is used to guard live stocks and sheep. It is protective and agile, taking good care of its family. They are affectionate towards children and gets along well with other pets but are reserved towards strangers.
