Miniature American Shepherd also known as mini are medium sized dog breeds originating from the United States. They grow as tall as 18 inches and weighs a maximum of 20 to 40 lbs. It inherits its roots from the Australian Shepherd. They are a house of energy who needs regular exercise to get out its pent up energies. It is multifaceted, capable of performing a variety of tasks from herding, running, retrieving and guarding. The coat is short and medium with a glossy texture. They are extremely obedient and quick learners. Training them is an enjoyable task and prove to be a complete entertainer. They get along well with children and are reserved towards strangers.
