A blend of shepherd breeds, King Shepherd is hybrid of German Shepherd, Shiloh Shepherd Dog, and Great Pyrenees. Inheriting the gene of a shepherd, King Shepherd continuous the lineage of guard dogs. Their long legs aid to a perfect gait which is powerful and ground covering. They grow to a height of 32 inches for males and 28 inches for females. They weigh in between 110 for females and 150 for males. Their coat resembles their parent breed of German Shepherd which is coarse and long. They are highly territorial and protective. Extremely wary of strangers, they are often used as guardian dogs and working dogs. They tend to be very nice with children and other pets. Obedient and faithful, they make very good companion dogs.
