The Keeshond is a medium-sized purebred, originating from Germany and Netherlands. They are used as Non-Sporting and listed among Northern breeds. They grow to a height of 19inches for male and 18 inches in the case of females. They weigh in between 35-45 pounds. they are also known as a dexterous dog, as it is able to perform a number of tasks. Their coat is long, thick and straight. Its gait is powerful and clean. It is energetic, obedient and faithful. They are affectionate and tend to be very playful. In constant need of exercise to vent out its excess of energy or else it will tend to turn destructive and boisterous. They are loyal companions to children, get along well with other pets especially cats. it proves to be a very good watch dog.
