Jamthund also known as Swedish Elkhound are medium to large sized dog breeds originating from Sweden. They grow up to a height of 26 inches and weighs approximately between 20-24 pounds. They belong to the Spitz breed and have a moderate bone structure. Their coat is short and smooth. They enjoy hunting, are active and alert. They get along well with other dogs and pets. They are a bit reserved with strangers and make good companion dogs.
