American water Spaniel are medium sized dog breeds originating from the United States. It is also known as American Brown Spaniel and American Brown Water Spaniel. It has a compact structure and a muscular built. They are used as sporting dogs and as gun dog breeds. It grows as tall as 15-18 inches and weighs between 25-45 pounds. Its trot is balanced and far reaching. Its coat is curly and glossy rendering it protecting against all types of weather, commonly occurring in brown, liver and chocolate colors. They enjoy indulging in water sports and retrieving activities. They are high spirited dog breeds. They tend to be calm and composed till it gets regular mental and physical exercise. They are known to be gentle and obedient. They get along well with children and are reserved with strangers.
