Japanese Bobtail are medium sized cats originating from Japan. They are also known as Japanese Truncated Cat. The males weigh between 7-10 pounds and females weigh between 5-7 pounds. They have compact boned structure. Its tail is short and fluffy. Its coat is long or short, soft and has a fluffy appearance. They are highly extrovert cats who enjoy being in the company of humans. They need constant exercise to keep them calm and energized. It is easy going with strangers and other pet breeds. They are cordial and patient with children.
