Who wouldn’t love to cuddle with their canine buddy and have a long lazy day. To add to advantage there are many dogs that would perfectly fit the bill of being termed the laziest dog breed in the world. These dog breeds are playful and energetic, yet they love to spend time napping rather than indulge in physical activities.
1.Newfoundland
Newfoundland has the appearance of a teddy bear are in actual very warm and affectionate breeds. they are well known as gentle giants who have a kind and friendly personality. They are reclusive to exercise and thus are prone to obesity and laziness. A good amount of encouragement is needed to thrive them to exercise.
2.Basset Hound
Basset hounds are stubborn and lazy. It can be a hard time for you to make them exercise and indulge in some physical activity. They tend to be calm and composed, but has a loyal, pleasant and friendly demeanor. They make good pet dogs and love to laze around and be in the company of their close ones inside the house.
3.English Bulldog
These tough looking dog breeds are playful, friendly and courageous. This dog is also stubborn and enjoying sleeping next to their owners, rather than indulging in any sporting activity.
4.Chihuahua
Highly energetic and playful, yet Chihuahua would love to plop down into its owner’s lap for a relaxing evening than sweat out itself.
5.Grey Hound
Greyhounds are loving and affectionate breeds of dog. They are gentle pooch who would love to stretch around the fire and take a good nap near the owner than indulge in any physical activity. Mistreating them will make them timid and shy and with proper training and socialization will turn them playful and curious.
6.Saint Bernard
Saint Bernard though appears to be muscular and giant, it is very naïve and friendly. It needs less exercise and are beloved family friends. They love to laze around and grab few minutes of nap.
7.Bullmastiff
Though this dog has a huge size and sturdy appearance, this dog loves drooling. Despite being a guard dog, the Bullmastiff can be a loving family pet that is noble, trustworthy and confident.
Bullmastiff is not a high energy dog and loves to drool.
8.Havanese
Havanese are active and energetic, not needing much exercise. Instead they would enjoy to be pampered via grooming and brushing.
9.Shih Tzu
The Shih Tzu also known as the “Chinese Lion Dog” or the “Chrysanthemum Dog” is small sized, cute looking fluffy breed which surely anyone would love to get home as pet. They love staying at homes. Being confined inside the four walls doesn’t bore them. they love to relax and chill, catching up for a short nap. Being with children doesn’t bother them, though care as to be taken. And here they are making their place among the most laziest dog breeds.
10.Great Dane
Great Dane was used as working dogs for hunting and guarding. These dogs have found their place amongst the laziest dog breeds. The dog has a peaceful disposition and get along well with children. They are in constant need of exercise to keep it fit and active.
