Varied Thrush is also known as Ixoreus naevius are small to medium-sized thrush birds. They are commonly found in the western part of North America. They weigh in between 65 to 100 g and grow up to a size of 7.9 to 10.2 inches. They have a life expectancy of 5 to 6 years. Its diet comprises mainly of seeds and fruits. They have orange, yellow, gray colorations on its breast and belly and black wings.
