Eastern Bluebird also known as Sialia sialis are small sized thrush birds found extensively across New York. It is the state bird of Missouri and New York. They weigh between 27 to 34 g and grow up to 9.8 to 12.6 inches in size. They have a lifespan of 6 to 10 years. Its diet mainly comprises of insects and other vertebrates other than fruits and berries. These species have bright blue colorations in its plumage.
