Cooper’s Hawk is also known as Accipter cooperii are small sized hawk birds. They are found extensively in southern Canada to northern Mexico. They weigh between 220 to 400 g and grows up to 14 to 18 inches in size. They have a life expectancy of 12 years. They are known to be migratory birds who migrate to warmer regions when winter sets in. The younger ones have yellow eyes whereas the adult ones have red eyes with a brown cap.
