Standard chinchilla are medium sized rabbits originating from France. They are hybrids produced from Beverens and Himalayans. They weigh as much as 5-7 lbs. They have compact body structure. Its coat is short to medium length which makes its grooming easy. They are found in different colors of blue and gray. These colors are accepted by ARBA. They are known to be friendly and responsive breeds. They are obedient and curious. They are easily trainable. They get along well with children.
