Silver Fox Rabbits are large sized rabbits originating from the United States. They were discovered by Walter B. Garland of North Canton, Ohio. They are hybrids produced from crossing Checkered Giants, Champagne D’Argent and either English Silvers and/or American Blue rabbits. They weigh as much as 9-12 lbs. It has commercial body structure. Its has a beautiful cover of coat occurring mostly in blue, chocolate and lilac. Its coat is short, straight, flat and extremely furry. They are known to be sensitive and even tempered breeds. They have a calm and affectionate demeanor. They are well suited for houses with children as they are extremely playful and friendly. They make excellent companions for outdoor and indoor activities.
