New Zealand Rabbit are large rabbits originating from New Zealand. They are produced by crossing Preshaw bred Angoras with white American rabbits as well as with Flemish Giants. They weigh as much as 10-12 lbs. They have commercial body shape.They have long ears that stand straight above their head. Its coat is short and soft occurring in varied colors of red, white, black and broken. They are known to be affectionate and docile breeds. They are known for their calm and friendly demeanor. They tend to have even temperament. They are suited for outdoor and indoor activities.
