Netherland Dwarf are medium sized rabbits originating from Netherland. They are produced by breeding all-white Hermelin rabbits with local native rabbits. They weigh as much as 1.1-2.5 lbs. they have compact body structure. They tend to have peculiarly large eyes and small ears. Their coat is furry, short or medium in size and needs comparatively lesser grooming. It occurs in varied colors of Chinchilla, Tortoise Shell, Sable Point, Black Silver Marten, Blue Tan, Orange, Chocolate Himalayan. They are prone to malocclusion. They tend to be quiet and reserved breeds. they are known to be skittish and well behaved. They are suited more as indoor pet. they get along well with children.
