American Bobtail are medium to large size cat breeds originating from the United States. The male weighs as much as 12-16 pounds and females between 7-11 pounds. it has moderate bone structure and a compact muscular built. it has large and blue almond shaped eyes which are very expressive. its coat is long or short with dense and plush undercoat occurring in varied colors and pattern. They are intelligent and adaptable breeds. They are very energetic needing regular exercise. They enjoy to indulge in retrieving activities. They enjoy being in the company of humans and hate to be left alone. They are well behaved with strangers and other pet breeds. They are affectionate towards children.
